Lucy Chemutai otherwise known as Chepkam made headlines yesterday when she stood on the streets of Eldoret with a placard that read she is looking for a husband. However, she has now made a 360 degree turn by claiming it was all in jest.
Popular blogger Cyprian Nyakundi posted a photo of the lady with a man in what appeared to be a restaurant setting with the caption "amepata". It seems that she was not actually serious about the incident as she says she was just bringing awareness to ladies that they shouldn't have to wait too long to get married.
"Many ladies are very single. It is only that they don't want to show it. I said that I should speak on their behalf." The 24 year old said. She says that she is not single or desperate and she was just doing this to bring attention to a plight that is ailing the country's ladies.
