The internet was set ablaze by the news that the Churchil Show star, Prof. Hamo was a deadbeat after allegations arose that he sired two kids with his fellow comedian by the name Jemutai and took off.
Cases of deadbeat fathers and single mothers are increasing in Kenya as many men take off to avoid responsibilities.
Comedian Jemutai has recently gone through tough times due to the Covid-19 pandemic which led to the closure of the Entertainment industry and rendered many jobless. Jemutai is a very fun comedian who always cracks ribs of many with her sweet jokes.
She cried to the public for help as she wasn't able to take care of her two kids and even pay rent. The hard life is believed to have pushed her to the wall as she allegedly claimed that her colleague Prof. Hamo is the father of her kids but he doesn't support them. The allegations were leaked by top Blogger Edgar Obare and many kenyans criticised the flamboyant comedian.
Comedian Prof. Hamo who is also works beside Jeff Koinange in a show aired on Radio Hot96, has today broken his silence claiming that he is not an absent dad. He is responsible and takes care of his family. He has kids within and without his family whom he supports.
However, his claims seem to point that among the kids he has outside the family include Jemutai's. This cements the allagations and might be true.
Kenyans have bashed the comedian for not taking care of his children hence neglecting them. Although we need to hear the other side of the story now we have it. Read his message below;
