Celebrated Kenyan gengetone artist Mejja popular known as Okwonko reveals the reason why his grandmother once Slapped him in public. The musician who is mostly loved by kids and young adults speaking to presenter Ali, a widely known youtube creator revealed this.
The youtuber was interviewing him and one of the questions he asked was why he doesn't show off in the internet just like his fellow celebrities do. Replying to the question, Mejja said he hates the way some socialite always post luxury life and meals while some of their fans are sleeping hungry.
Mejja explained saying that it's not cool showing off while someone is viewing your post full of problems and hunger and he learnt that a time where his grandma bought him some snacks and because he was a kid, he decided to start eating on the way.
After realizing he was eating on the way, his grandmother gave him a hot slap and told him that he should eat when they reach home because they might be some hungry children watching him enjoy while they suffer.
