The music industry in Kenya has been having controversial issues with some hit songs being pulled down on YouTube.
Otile Brown was the latest victim and now the self proclaimed Chairman of the gospel industry, Ringtone Apoko has got himself in the mix. According to him, his two hit songs that happen to be collaborations with artists from Tanzania were pulled down this morning. The songs Tenda Wema Nenda Zako featuring Christina Shusho and Walionicheka featuring Rose Muhando are no longer available on YouTube.
Ringtone did not give a clear explanation on why the action was taken, he however asked his fans to pray for him claiming some people are attacking him because they don't want him to release hit songs for Jesus.
This adds to his woes after his latest song featuring Rose Muhando was also pulled down hours after it was released for claims of copyright a common reason that has been given after such an act is taken by YouTube.
