Former Coro FM radio queen Nyokabi wa Njuguna, also known as Nyoks Wa Katta is currently at Kememe redio station and now holds a show in the morning together with Jeff Kuria.
She also hosts a show on Inooro TV every Friday at night. The show is called "Mugithi night" where various Mugithi songs are played as well live bands. A lot of songs are played but there are those that are special and close to her heart and when played they revive her.
Let us look at the songs.
"Tukuminywa ithire" by Jose Gatutura with Davy Kamoke. The song talks about how the current generation spend time taking alcohol the same way their parents used to do. Their aim is to drink it all so that their children will not have a chance to use it.
The next is "Ngunde Ngurume" by a young man called Shalkido. This song makes her scream out of happiness, it also talks about how they are going to drink until they can't walk any more and supress demonic spirits in them.
The song marks the beginning of her weekend and for the reasons known best to her, she can't do without them every Friday.
