Joyce Lay is becoming a sensation in the music industry. So far she has released four songs and she is planning to release another one in the coming days. What is special about this song is that it will be the first one where she will appear on video. The other songs have only been done in audio format.
The former MP from Taita Taveta says that she will not be vying for any elective seat in 2022 and that she has shelved political ambitions to concentrate on music. According to the one time legislator, God spoke to her and told her to advocate for LGBTIQ rights. She was shown a vision that they are discriminated upon in the society. This is good news to the community especially during pride month.
It will not be the first time the former MP will be using her platform to fight for rights. While as a member of the August House, she was very vocal in supporting a bill to govern in-vitro fertilization. This is were a couple use surrogate mother to get a baby. We wish Joyce Lay happiness and success as she embarks in her new career.
