Wanjiru Mbugua and Jamila Mbugua are twin sisters and are also both journalists. They have worked in different media stations before. Before joining KBC, Jamila hosted The Property Show at NTV whereas Wanjiru was a communication and marketing consultant at Diamond media.

Wanjiru was also a business news anchor at KBC between 2006 to 2008. Jamila on the other hand was a Faraja Show host at K24 in 2015 before she joined Nation Media Group.

Now, Wanjiru and Jamila will be presenting news together at KBC. They will be presenting the Dira ya Magwiji bulletin which airs at 7 pm on Saturday. The twins have joined KBC barely months after the station lost one of its veteran journalists, Badi Muhsin.
