Popularity of R Kelly's Music Surges After Guilty Verdict In Sex Trafficking

Days after popular RnB singer R Kelly was found guilty of sex crimes, streams and radio play of his music noticeably increased, according to data from Billboard.

On Friday, R Kelly's music streams had increased by 22%, video streams increased by 23% and his album sales had rocketed by 517%.

R Kelly whose real name is Robert Sylvester Kelly was convicted of eight counts of trafficking women across state lines for sex and one count of racketeering for criminal conduct.

R Kelly who has been releasing International music for over three decades was an inspiration to many musicians. YouTube deleted his two music channels after he was found guilty.
