Ibrahim Rotich a young man believed to be behind the merciless killing of Kenyan star Agnes Tirop has taken plea today.
According to sources, Rotich denied ever killing the young star.
Rotich was nabbed by detectives in Mombasa as he tried to flee the country hours after Tirop's murder.
Tirop's death
Agnes Tirop was reported missing by his kins who later reported of her dissappearance to the police.
Reports then indicated that Tirop's hubby made a phone call to his parents crying and begging for mercy after what he had done.
This phone call led detectives to believing that something bad had happened to the famous athlete.
Afterwards, detectives toured the couple’s house the worst was discovered, Agnes was found brutally murdered on her bed.
The DCI revealed that Agnes has suffered multiple stab wounds and had lost a lot of blood leading to her death.
Afterwards her burial, family members and fellow athletes called for justice saying Tirop's death should serve as a lesson to many.
