The family of slain Edwin Kiptoo, alias Chiloba has dismissed claims of their kin being a member of LGBTQ.
Addressing the press in Eldoret, the fashion artist's sister,Gaudencia disputed claims trapping the deceased into being a member of LGBTQ group. "Edwin alikuwa kiongozi wa Kanisa shuleni ata alikuwa anaitwa pastor" she told the press.
She urged netizens to desist from propagating untrue and fake rumours on social media about Chiloba's alleged LGBTQ membership.
"Haya maneno ambayo yanaenea mtandaoni tunawaomba wakenya waache kueneza maneno ambayo si ya kweli" she added.
Chiloba's lifeless body was found stuffed in a metallic box along Kipkenyo-Kaptinga road in Uasin Gishu county.
The deceased's body was discovered by a boda boda operator playing along the aforesaid road and informed the police officers over the dropped suspicious metal box by a plate-less car.
Jacktone Odhiambo, believed Chiloba's lover was arrested as lead suspect in the cold murder of the fashion artist. Mr Odhiambo confessed before the investigative officers that he killed Chiloba for being unfaithful in their relationship.
