Today on Saturday 14th January 2023, Kenyans have joined together to comfort the family of the late veteran news anchor, Catherine Kasavuli, who is laid to rest today in Vihiga county. Top leaders from the nation have joined the family in the final send-off. Among the leaders present are; Martha Karua, Sports Cs, Ababu Namwamba, Moses Wetangula, Musalia Mudavadi among other leaders.
Sports and Culture Cabinet Secretary, Ababu Namwamba, has caused some joyful moments during the Burial ceremony of Catherine Kasavuli. This was after he showered praises to Hon. Martha Karua for her acts.
Namwamba applauded Martha Karua for standing with Catherine Kasavuli's family during the tough moments that they have experienced since the death of legendary veteran journalist Catherine Kasavuli.
Ruto's Cabinet Secretary also recalled how Martha Karua helped him where she mentored him when the first joined the parliament of Kenya during Kibaki's government. He said that Martha Karua is one of the ladies who need to be celebrated as she is a mentor who has mentored many.
