The direction from the Ruto's team to support KBC TV gave light to it as they denied Royal media access to it on the direct streaming but to pay for the streams from the individual company that was contracted to air the Inauguration Ceremony.
According to the views on the Ruto's yesterday event, the Citizen TV was the leading on the streams as over 200,000 people watched the event within every one hour as compared to other TV houses across the country and followed by the NTV Kenya which had Streams of over 60,000 within an hour.
The KBC TV was third as widely streamed within the country despite being given the greenlight to air the event independently. This shows how Citizen TV is still widely accepted and getting people out of it won't be easy. This is also a boost to the KBC TV as they have gained much support after the directive.
