Butita announced the good news to his fans, opening up on his new milestone.
Taking to Instagram, he revealed that he has been working on a Swahili project that is now on the internationl platform.
"I have always wanted to be on Netflix, this year God made it a reality. I was reached out to be the first Netflix Swahili Comedy Writer and Director," he said.
"For the past few Months I wrote and directed the Swahili Version of Upshaws created by Wanda Sykes, it was a great experience.
"The early mornings and late nights together with a team of talented professionals from Hiventy Africa, We succesfullly brought the script to life and it now streaming on Netflix," he added.
The news was received well by fans and celebrities who joined in celebrating his wins.
