A number of Royal Media personnel are hospitalised and one reported to have died due to food poisoning after eating a buffet yesterday during boxing day celebration. The buffet is said to have been prepared by a hired catering firm. The Royal Media service is said to have contracted the catering firm to supply food for the staff working during the Christmas shift.The Royal Media reporters and news presenters started complaining of severe stomachache and abdominal pains yesterday 26th December 2022 after eating the buffet supplied by the catering firm.

It is sad as one employee is reported to have succumbed today 27th December 2022 while others more than five are admitted to hospital due to food poisoning.
It is important for the entire country to join hands and pray for those Hospitalised and still mourn with the RMS group for losing one of their colleague.The members of the public are urged to be cautious when it comes to eating and drinking and Incase of any discomforts afterwards they should consult the nearest health facility.
