Alex Mwakideu is a Kenyan radio presenter who works for Milele FM and formerly worked at Radio Maisha. He also worked for the Mombasa-based Baraka FM. He left the Mombasa Road-based media after 8 years and handed in his resignation to Head of Radio Tom Japanni sometimes in June ending his long ties with the Standard Media Group. He joined radio Maisha where he was later joined by Jalang'o.
In an interview he said that working with Jalang'o is one of his best moments in his career and he would like to work with him again. This seems to be impossible as Jalang'o is ready to retire for media jobs and focus on politics come 2022 where he is running for Lang'ata Constituency parliamentary seat.
Jalas had posted his photo with his wife on instagram. Alex Mwakideu one of his best friends went on and made the following comment, “na nmekua nikikwambia kila siku..tembea na Shem wangu ung’are zaidi...Ona sasa mnavyopendeza.” This comment left people talking since Jalas he rarely goes into his shows with his wife neither posting her on social media.
