
As pressure continues to mount on William Ruto following the entry of Musalia and Wetangula in the Ruto led team, several players from Western who had been allied to Ruto is now breathing cold following the issue of zoning which is believed to be part of the agreement by Ruto's team.

It has now emerged that the defection of Walukhe to Jubilee has forced the deputy president to convene a secret meeting with some of his allies from the region who are now threatening to leave the party, and join forced with other leaders who are anti-Ruto in the region.
Ruto now facing un uphill task of trying to convince them not to leave since they are better ways of solving the issues. Some of the leaders that Ruto has already met include Didmus Barasa who had already hinted on leaving UDA and Benjamin Washiali who is also seeking alternatives.
