Citizen TV's crime reporter Hassan Mugambi is an individual most of us are familiar with as he regularly graces our screen either reading a swahili news report or hot on the heels on a story that he wants to un ravel to the public. Intrestingly, a scarce number of people know Hassan's journey to date as the seasoned journalist keeps his life private whenever he is off the screen as it has not been a walk in the park for the TV hunk.
Born and Raised in one of Africa's largest Slums, Kibera, Hassan Mugambi started off his journalism career at Pamoja Fm in Kibera slums after attending school at the East African School of Journalism then later joined the Nairobi University to sharpen his skills as a journalist. It was at K24 that Hassan first got engaged for a TV presenter role seeing his contract run for 5 solid years. In 2017, Citizen TV hired Mugambi as the Royal Media Services powerhouse experienced a significant shift in its journalist's cast. Mugambi has since been doing interrogative features for the station as well as stepping in to read swahili news whenever Rashid Abdalla is off duty.
Away from his journalism job, Mugambi has from time to time excited fans with photos of him out and about enjoying the finer spoils of life. Mugambi's sense of fashion has also won him alot of fans as the lad surely keeps himself sharp and always looks dapper just like he is on screen. His is a story of from grass to riches, a life shaped from one's desire to achieve and be the best in his trade and Profession while putting God first.
