The incident happened back on July 7th 2021 during Presidents Kenyattah brief visit to the slums of Mukuru kwa Ruben to inspect the projects undertaken by NMS.
It was during this time that the presenter well known by many as Shaffi Zele met the Commander-in-Chief and President Uhuru Kenyattah.
The incident came as a big surprise to the young and upcoming Radio Presenter as he was carrying out his night shift duties.
After the surprise visit, the incident went viral and Shaffi Zele's family and friends started giving him calls thinking he was left some cheque or money by the head of state.
Some even asked him if he has eventually made it in life after meeting the President and if he is now living a luxurious life.
Shaffi Zele has therefore gone ahead to ask his family and friends who think he's made it in life to stop that kind of thinking and says he still has got his goals and trying to reach them.
Speaking to me,Shaffi Zele explained to me everything saying meeting the head of state only made him a little bit famous but money wise he is still struggling to make ends meet just like any other young Kenyan youth.
