Sabina Wanjiru Chege is the current Woman Representative for Murang'a county serving her second term. Based on appearance, she is arguably one of the most beautiful legislators in the country.
She was born in on 22 August 1972 in Murang'a county. She attended Matu Primary School and Kinyona Primary School before proceeding to Mugoiri Girls High School. She pursued a Bachelors degree of Education at the University of Nairobi and later took a Master's Degree in Communication in the same university.
Did you know that she was an actress and a radio presenter before joining politics? She played the role of Rehema in a television soap called Tausi. Subsequently, she worked as a radio presenter on Coro FM, owned by Kenya Broadcasting Corporation and at Kameme FM. She joined communication firm, Space Africa, as the Regional Manager and also worked as programmes controller at KBC in 2007 before joining politics in 2013 where she won Murang’ a women rep seat on a TNA ticket.
Sabina is married with three beautiful children. She walked down the aisle in an all-white wedding on September 7, 1996, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in South B, Nairobi. Her husband is a former dairy board boss who doubled up as lead campaigner.[Photo courtesy]
