Yesterday night, popular philanthropist Karangu Muraya revealed that he had received a disturbing message from his longtime friend gospel artist Peterson Njenga who is well known for his hit song 'Ciringi ya Nga'.
"I am at the end. Please help me before something bad happens" read the message as translated from Kikuyu language.
After Peterson sent Karangu the disturbing message, Karangu tried to call him but all calls went unanswered.
Kenyans contributed 113,000 Kenyan shillings for Peterson just an hour after Karangu Muraya shared the sad news on his Facebook page.
According to an update by Soft news radio, Njenga confessed that has been going through a lot of problems for 5 years now.
He has been having a problem with his leg. This caused him financial constraints to a point of being recently evicted from his rented house by the landlord. Yesterday night, he was at a point of almost attempting suicide.
