Renowned Radio Citizen Managing Editor Robin Njogu was on Tuesday, March 16th announced to take his last breathe, while receiving treatment at the Aga Khan Hospital.
Confirming the news, ICT, Innovation and Youth Affairs CS Joe Mucheru took to his social media accounts describing Njogu as a radio news developer.
Celebrated Citizen TV news anchor Trevor Ombija through his Twitter account disclosed that Mr. Njogu has his first mentor and confidants who supported him and showed him the way when he freshly joined the radio.
"My heart bleeds this morning, I have lost a friend, a brother and a mentor. Robin Njogu gave me my first Job on radio fresh from the village with no experience and a heavy accent but he never gave up on me. Fly with the angels my friend..." he posted.
Despite being a Managing Editor at the Royal Media Services, Njogu was a Communication for Social & Behavior Change specialist and also a Certified Online and Social Media Practitioner.
