With an Increament in Gender based violence cases in the country,here are some of the famous celebrity relationships that ended due to physical violence.
1. Saumu Mbuvi.
Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko's daughter Saumu claimed that she was in an abusive relationship with her baby daddy Benson Gatu . She claimed that he would sometimes get physical and yet she was pregnant.
2. Idah Alisha.
Former Mother- in-law actress Idah Alisha confessed that her ex husband used to physically assault her and that was why she walked out.In an interview,Alisha confessed that it started with a slap and then verbal abuse. She however found love again and got married.
3. Lilian Muli.
Popular Tv presenter Lilian Muli divorced her ex- husband Moses Njuguna Kamene over claims that he was abusive. The two tied the knot in 2014.
4. Nicah The Queen.
Popular songstress Nicah claimed that her ex-husband Dr. Ofweneke ,a famous comedian and TV host was abusive. Ofweneke however dismissed the allegations and claimed that he has nothing but respect for his baby mama.
5. JB Masanduku.
The popular comedian was accused by his wife Tina Kaggia of physically assaulting her when drunk. He denied the allegations claiming he couldn't hurt his ex-wife.
