Most of the hit songs that have come out of Wasafi Records have been produced by the talented Iraju Hamisi Mjege, better known by his stage name Lizer Classic. The youthful producer is among the most talented producers in Africa and he is easily recognized from the 'Ayo Lizer' drop at the beginning of the popular hit tracks that he has produced.
He has produced hit songs like Sikomi, Eneka, Hallelujah, Waka, Kijuso, Kwangwaru, Show Me, Tuachane, Zilipendwa, Jibebe all by WCB artistes and A-Boy from Tandale, an album by Diamond Platnumz- all of which have made him a force to reckon with in the music industry in East Africa and beyond.
Although Lizer is currently ruling the airwaves with endless hit songs that he has produced, his success didn't come on a silver platter. In a bid to inspire his fans and upcoming producers, he shared a throwback photo when he was producing music in a single room.
Back then, he just had a dream and a few recording equipments. He posted the photo on his Instagram page and captioned it, ''Everything thing starts from zero,''.
Lizer has been in the music industry for 11 years and so far, he has won many awards and produced a lot of international hits. As they say, a journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step.
