Esther Akoth, popularly known by her stage name as Akothee, is a renowned musician from Kenya who has immensely developed fame and wealth. The musician hails from Migori county in the Nyanza region of Kenya.
Akothee is a single mother of five; two sons and three lovely daughters. All her five kids have different dads. That's where she earned the name, "president of single mothers." Despite her single status, Akothee has done exemplary well to provide for all her kids. Her firstborn daughter recently graduated from the university.
The musician is also an entrepreneur who has ventured in many business across the country. She is a woman made of iron.
Akothee has taken good care of her parents back at home. She has built a mansion for her parents. She even went an extra mile of buying a land close to her parents so that she can easily access them. In her message to Kenyans last week, Akothee posted a video with the caption, " take care of your parents as if you were born alone." She meant it.
Akothee today posted a photo with her dad on her Instagram page. In the photo, she was helping her dad to put on a pair of gumboots. Unfortunately, the gumboots couldn't fit him, because of his oversized feet.
Akothee could not hide the fact that she misses her parents and family so much. She disclosed that she initially used to import her dad's shoes from abroad, but since the onset of the Corona virus pandemic, she was unable to import the shoes.
She is now forced to tailor-make her dad's shoes at Umoja in Nairobi. She also disclosed that her dad wears shoe size 56!
This sparked mixed reactions online as netizens couldn't stop talking after seeing Akothee's post. Akothee has indeed showed many people how parents should be taken care of.
