Another family has come out asking for the government to help their daughter allegedly trapped in Saudi Arabia come back home
This is the second plea in less than a week after another family, the family of Diana Chepkemoi raised similar concerns.
Fortunately, Diana on Tuesday landed back from Saudi Arabia. Her family members and some leaders received her at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
Nelly Jelagat who hails from Nandi County is allegedly being held in Saudi Arabia against her will.
According to the source, Nelly wants to come back home but the employer is now willing to let her go.
It has been said that Nelly left the country last year in September after an agency linked her with an Arabic employer.
The lady is yet to come back regardless of her request to be allowed to return
"The family of Nelly Jelagat is appealing for assistance from the government to bring her back home. Nelly is being held in Saudi Arabia(Location in Saudi Arabia- Al-Kharj~ Abi Dujanah street) against her will. She is from Mosop, Nandi county," the source said.
Sources reveal that one is not allowed to leave Saudi Arabia until his or her contract expires.
