Through her Instagram page, the singer revealed that journalists are two sided swords. She stated; " I stopped doing interviews both on TV and radio. Some stations I would walk in and feel so empty. The presenters looked so cold and pretentious ready, with forced smiles on their faces ready to attack my private life and my past."
Her revelation came after a certain journalist alleged that Akothee was rude after she refused to take part in an interview. However, the singer clearly stated that she already have enough enemies and did not want to continue adding imaginary ones. She wrote; " Problem is not the stations, problem is the people inside the stations. They forget that that's someone's investment and take it personally." Akothee instead wished fellow artists the best as they pushed for media attention.
