Mr. Naftali Olosya and his wife could not hide their joy today when her excellency Madam Rachel Ruto together with her former classmates paid a courtesy call to his home at Likuyani, Kakamega town and gifted them with a Double Cabin Toyota Hilux vehicle.
Mr. Olasya was a headteacher at Likuyani Primary school where Rachel did her primary school from nursery to class seven. During the event, Kenya's second lady praised the retired teacher and attributed her success to him.
The gift which is approximated to be Ksh. 3 million was "a way of expressing gratitude for the countless years he gave of his life and service." Rachel said. The teacher is known for his sternness, firmness and great reputation. He shaped many people's childhood years making sure that success became their hallmark.
Rachel later laid flowers on the grave of Bolivia Ambika Olosya as she joined the family in mourning her. Below are our selected photos of the event.
