Diana Marua has been under heavy criticism following her decision to join the music industry.
Her name has been trending on social media, most Kenyans blasting her and very few admitting she is talented.
Her choice of clothes in the music video and during her big reveal has also been a talk of the town.
The new rap queen taking the headlines by storm is not however going to let the pressure make her think otherwise.
She has compared herself to a city built on top of a hill and can't be hidden.
"I am a city built on top of a hill. I cannot be hidden," she wrote on Instagram.
Diana also thanked Bahati for the support he is giving her; on and off social media.
Her first music video, Hatutaachana, has 787k YouTube views in just two days.
She is doing way better than some of the female musicians who have been in the industry for sometimes.
How far will she go with this kind of criticism?
