So Sad, Another Prominent Member In The Kenyan Music Industry Succumbs To Coronavirus

The deadly Coronavirus pandemic has continued to threaten the lives of Kenyans. According to Cabinet Secretary of Health Mr. Mutahi Kagwe, a third wave seems to have rocked Kenyans and this has been seconded by the high profile deaths that have been witnessed in Kenya over this month. This runs from incumbent politicians as well as high profile Kenyans

On Wednesday 24 March 2021, another prominent Kenyan has died of Coronavirus complications. This is none other that Mike Maganzo, Chairman of Music Copyrights Copyrights Society of Kenya (MCSK). This has been confirmed by family member at his Kaloleni Estate, Nairobi home whereby the MCSK Chairman was living together with his wife.

All was well with Mike Maganzo not until earlier this week whereby he developed breathing problems. He was thus rushed to Mbagathi Hospital whereby he later died early Wednesday morning. Mike Maganzo would be remembered for his instrumental role he played in reshaping of MCSK which saw Kenyan artists to be paid their royalties
