Janet Mbugua. 

Janet Mbugua was born and raised in Mombasa county. She is alumni of Brookhouse school, USIU, and Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Malaysia where she pursued her degree in Mass communication. She did her masters in Global Business Management at the Swiss Management Academy, Nairobi.

Before quitting her career as a journalist, She had worked for Capital FM, South African based E.TV, KTN and Citizen TV where she exited in the year 2017 under unclear circumstances. She is the founder and director of 'Media Avenue Limited' and Inua Dada foundation.

Kanze Dena.

On the other hand, Kanze Kellen Betriece, who most known her as Kanze Dena was born and raised in Kwale county. She is alumni of the then Kianjokoma primary school which is now St. Matthews Mixed Boarding Primary School in Embu, Kieni Girls High School and Foundation College of Professional Studies where she studied Journalism and Mass Communication.

Before quitting her journalism career, she had worked for the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation radio, Kenya Broadcasting Corporation TV as a news anchor and as a Director and news anchor at Citizen TV where she exited in 2018 after being appointed by the president to serve as the Deputy State House Spokesperson and Deputy Head of the President's Strategic Communication Unit (PSCU) in charge of coordinating digital, messaging, research, branding, and press at State House. She is currently the spokesperson in the executive office of the president.
