Social media being the hub of rumors and clout chasing in the entertainment industry, most incidents on these platforms are always hilarious. A Kenyan man on social media has reached out to Tanzanian bongo star Diamond Platinumz advising him to stop using fake American accents to pass messages to his fans.
This comes after Diamond posted a video on his social media platforms informing them of his awaited performance in Burkina Faso speaking in an American accent. The Kenyan man is said to have been bitter about it stating that the star should embrace his language and feel comfortable spreading the Swahili language to the world.
In the video recording, the man further tells Diamond to know and love where he comes from to let the world understand his native language and accent and not fake adding that he should simply embrace Africa.
"Acha Umbwakni", the man further stated which means stop faking in English. We all know that most African entertainers will always want to stand out to impress their fans with their verbal and written communication skills and in an instant forget about who and where they come from.
