Pierra Makena is a Kenyan disc jockey, actress and TV personality. She won best supporting actress for her role in When Love Comes Around at the annual Nollywood and African Film Critics Awards in Los Angeles.
The famous female DJ Pierra Makena has written a sentimental message to the president of the republic after his instructions on ban of public gatherings to try and curb widespread contraction of Covid-19. She said that entertainers have been limited the chances of making a living due to the containment measures of the Corona virus imposed.
The message was to plead with the president to allow her conduct her event Park and Chill which lasts upto just an hour before the restricted hours of the curfew hours. She went on to give details of how the event is secure for the people and how it obeys the Covid-19 set rules. She hoped that the message reaches the president and hopes that Uhuru Kenyatta helps entertainers as his message was misunderstood.
