Joyce wa Mama is a Kenyan Kikuyu artist. She was born in Kongoini village in Kiharu Morang'a county. Her sibling is called Jackie Mathia.
Joyce wa Mama started his singing career in 2009 when he went to Nairobi from Morang'a to search for job. Wangare wa Kabera was the one who introduced Joyce to the music industry. Joyce wa Mama has now done so many musics and has also done collabo with popular music artist figures like Samidoh.
Joyce wa Mama is is currently not married but she is a mother to a son called Telvin Mathia. The father to the son is known as Manyeki of which they met when she was a radio presenter in KBC.
Some of the songs she has sang are as follows Thina ni umagwo, wendo wi cama, Wari Wakwa, Menya wari Wakwa, zurura Dada and Wanjogotha Niki.
