Keziah Obama died last week after a short illness in London. She was the mother to Auma Obama and Mailik Obama who are very popular considering that they are siblings to the former U.S president Barrack Obama.
She was the second wife to Obama Senior who is also the father to Barrack Obama.
According to a recent report by the Standard Digital newspaper, it has reported that the family through Malik Obama have confirmed that the report is true and they are asking member of their family to contribute and help lay their mother to rest in Kogelo. He even said he hope the government will intervene and help them.
"We are bringing Mama Keziah home to rest with us. [We] are grateful for donations. [Send your contributions via] M-Pesa to the contact 0726634050,” says a financial appeal card bearing the name of Late Mama Sarah Obama’s personal assistant Nelson Ochieng.
Although it's not yet clear if the family reached out to their brother Barrack Obama for assistance because this could have been easier.
