A proponent of clean content in the kenya's entertainment industry
Meet a young talented kenyan from Kitale who inspires artists to work on content that is relevant to all age groups.
Mkenya Isaak is a comedian/content creator who hails from Trans-Nzoia county. He is known for his passion for a better country. He began his content creation dubbed 'NAFEEL KENYA' when he used to do short videos addressing different issues in the society with some humor and creativity.
A trained teacher and businessman, this creative artist has grown to be popular and inspirational. His popularity gained momentum from how he could express his passion of joining the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) but was unlucky. In one of the videos which is both in his facebook page and you tube, hitting more than 1m views on Facebook. He expressed how in one of the KDF recruitment exercise, though unlucky, but he was treated fairly by the recruiting officers.
His facebook page has attracted quite a number of followers about 47k at the moment, and it is projected that in the coming few months, he will have more than 1m followers, and subscribers in his you tube channel too.
Where does his story begin?
His journey in content creation dates back to 2010/2011 while in High School at Immaculate Mukuyu Secondary. He was a leader of the drama and Music club, as well the School's entertainment prefect. He was a very charismatic, creative and entertaining boy, who considered almost everything in school as fun (except Math perhaps). During this time, he performed short skits to class mates quite often, and he was loved by his fellow students.
After High School, he joined Set-Book performing group called Mantix theatre, where he grew to become their leader. It is here where he acquired the name Seven Million. Thereafter he went overseas to Thailand and came back to the country in 2020 to transform the entertainment industry.
He is now campaigning for clean content in the industry, and he has the support of Dr. Ezekiel Mutua (C.E.O Kenya Films and Classification Board) and other renowned bigwigs of the industry like Jalas, Gidi-Gidi etc.
We urge other content creators to join him to push the clean content agenda forward.
