CDM Kiratu is a famous Kikuyu veteran musician who is among the famous pioneer musicians in Kenya of the Kikuyu mugithi and Benga music. His official name is Christopher David Mwaura. He sang songs during the era of the famous musicians such as the late kamaru, Late queen Jane and others such as the late Sammy Kinuthia.
The Mugithi maestro who has sang famous songs such as Ngoro yakwa iri Limuru, wendo ni uhoro and the famous hindi nigoka was in an interview in a vernacular Kikuyu station when the unexpected happened and was left talking under the table.
The top musician was explaining on his music journey. The presenter in charge requested the 69 years old to perform one of his songs and as he was changing into a comfortable position his chair broke . What a bad incident to a star.
