Mellan Njeri, a form two student aged fifteen years was spotted in city streets begging for school fees. The girl studies at Kihumbu-ini secondary school. She had been sent home for school fees but her mother could not afford the required money. That is why Mellan decided to look for help from well-wishers.
Ndungu Nyoro visited the family of Mellan. It was so emotional as Mellan shed tears as she narrated her story.

Good news have been shared on Facebook by Ndungu Nyoro. He revealed that Melanie reported back to school in the afternoon. Her mother confirmed it and she was so grateful to the Affecto family and well-wishers who helped them raise the school fees.
