Ruto's allies have been working tirelessly hard to make sure that DP Ruto ascends to power in August. The team has been traversing the country with a hope of bagging as many votes as possible. In Ruto's backyard, his allies such as Caleb Kositany and Oscar Sudi have vowed to lock out the independent candidates from winning in the region.
Oscar Sudi has been among the controversial leaders.A few months ago, reports emerged that the vocal lawmaker forged certificates to seek nominations in 2013 as Kapseret MP.This case has been going on since the revelations were made.Unfortunately,Mr Sudi skipped the court hearing for the second time in a row.
Defence lawyers tried to defend Sudi in court that he had travelled to Turkey for medication. However,Corruption Court Chief Magistrate Felix Kombo directed the MP through his lawyers to provide proof immediately.Apart from this,he has been ordered to provide travel documents to prove that he actually travelled to Turkey. Will Sudi escape this case?
