Awinja Nyamwaro is a comedian, socialite and a renowned actress who played a role of a primitive house help to Wilbroda in the popular Swahili comedy Papa Shirandura that was aired by Citizen TV on every Thursday from 7pm to 8pm, was born in 1989 from a very humble background in Kibra constituency, Nairobi county where she completed her secondary education before joining Kenya Theatre for an acting course.
Although she prefers to keep her marriage life off publicity, she is married to a businessman from Nairobi and they are blessed with one kid.
In her facebook page, the outspoken Nyamwalo have recounted how her 20 calendar aged blood brother died in broad daylight, was among the gang that was fired down by officers from director of criminal investigation in Nairobi when they were trying to hijack a vehicle that was felling money to KCB bank. "We did our best to stop him from hanging out with bad boys in ghettos but the advice fallen on deaf ears." She said, appealed to Kenyans to pray for her family so that the same case would never happen again.
