The Wasafi Record Label Owner and Afro-fusion star Diamond Platnumz has again featured on the top of the most famous artists in Africa. Diamond has risen to be the artist with a YouTube channel with most subscribers in the continent. The multiple hit maker has surpassed five million subscribers.
Compared to other African stars, the musician seems to be soaring above all other music legends. As at a time like this last year, Diamond was still leading with a three million subscribers. He has steadily risen after garnering more than two million subscribers in a year's span.
This puts him in the best position of representing Africa in the global charts. His fast shot to greater heights in the industry is attributed to his aggressiveness, hard work and consistency. It should be remembered that his humble beginnings did not deter him.

Diamond has had international collaborations with the world's most famous musical figures like Rick Ross and Neyo. He consistently works around the clock, seemingly burning candles at both ends to see his ambitions achieved.
Contrary to many people's expectations, Diamond has outshined his predecessors and great musicians from Kenya, Uganda, South Africa and Nigeria.
