Out of curiosity, Kenyans have been trying to guess who the new Inooro TV news anchor might be and they are settling for any name that can cross their minds, from Monica Kagoni to Jacque Maribe, Carol Kinyugo Mwaura and the latest name being Grace Kuria. The surprise news anchor will be anchoring alongside Ken Wakuruya who has been doing it alone for months after Muthoni wa Mukiri called it quits.
Grace Kuria left Standard Group Media where she was a news anchor at KTN NEWS several months ago to join CGTN. On September 20th, 2021, she announced on her social media pages that she was leaving the media station. "Some personal news! Today I leave CGTN Africa a better person than I was months ago, with greater insight on digital media. Forever grateful for the opportunity. Excited about the next phase of my career. God takes all the glory," she posted.
Kenyans are now associating Grace Kuria's move from CGTN to the promo that Inooro TV has been running about a surprise news anchor expected to be unveiled on Thursday. Word also has it that Grace Kuria could be on her way to join BBC AFRICA.
