Deputy President William Ruto meets Kenyan Artists at his home in Karen

Kenyan rapper Brian Ouko, commonly known by his stage name Khaligraph Jones, posted on his Instagram account last week requesting the Deputy president of Kenya to look into the current situation affecting our country. Khaligraph Jones urged the Deputy president to talk to the president of the nation and come up with a strategy that may not affect the hustle of a common Kenyan.

Yesterday at his home in Karen, William Ruto hosted a number of Kenyan artist to discuss the same issue raised by Khaligraph Jones.Willy Paul Msafi was one of the artists who were in the meating with Deputy president, Nadia Mukami, Kristoff, and media personality Jalang'o.They discussed their concerns, suggestions and proposals on the current situation in the country due to Corona virus.

They discussed the possibility of coming up with a policy that will help weed out brokers and impediments that slow the growth of the industry.

They talked about ways on how they can improve the state of the country and help the creative industry in this hard times.

They assured that the recommendations and proposals are forwarded to the national emergency response committee on Corona virus.

However Khaligraph Jones who led other artists warned those who may think they went for handouts, he said that real agendas were tackled and possible solutions laid down.
