Margaret Njeri, the wife of actor Gibson Gathu, has written a heartfelt ode to her devoted husband.
At his Matundura Home in Nyandarua County, Gathu will be buried on Tuesday. Njeri, the widow, praised her late husband as the foundational member of the family.
"You were the best grandfather, father, and spouse. We'll keep your legacy alive and your memories will be vivid in our minds "Njeri stated.
The late actor left behind his wife and his three children, Ian Gathu, Trizza Mwihaki Githu, and Grace Wanjiru Gathu.
He had several grandchildren as well. Grace, Gathu's daughter, described her father as a strong guy and expressed her relief that he had fully recovered and been restored.

The well-known actor passed away in December 2022 from kidney failure that was effectively addressed by a kidney transplant in the middle of 2022.
His family claims that he eventually died from a heart arrest.
Gathu was scheduled to receive a kidney transplant at Mediheal Hospital in Eldoret, according to a notice viewed by Word Is The appeal stated, "Gibson has been controlling his diabetes for more than 20 years, but sometime around November 2020, his kidneys failed, leading to him receiving dialysis twice a week."
It claimed that the disease has financially depleted the family. Gathu had a donor and required between Sh5 million and Sh6 million for a kidney transplant, according to the petition.
The procedure was slated to take place at Mediheal Hospital in Eldoret in July 2022.
"The recipient's post-operative care is included in the said sum."
