Evelyn Wanjiru was born in the year 1990 and brought up at Freehold, Nakuru. She went to Saint Mary's Girls Primary and later to Langalanga High School. While at her lower level of education as early as nine years old she begun her music journey.
She has mentored her career by the grace of God and now a renowned Kenyan Gospel Singer, writer and worship leader. She has won approximately 32 Prestigious awards, the earliest being Groove Awards, 2012. Recently she bagged Maranatha Awards with her son 'Hakuna Mungu Kama Wewe'.
With tremendous hard work, patience, self-control and dependance on the sovereign being, Evelyn has set standards in the gospel music spheres that will take principled musicians to attain it.
With all that glory of success and excellence in what she has done, her levels of humility and love for all is unquestionable. She is trustworthy, generous and able to stand the tests of time.
