The 23 year old Andrea Meza was crowned Miss Universe today during the 69th annual pageant ceremony which was held in Hollywood,Florida at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. The ceremony was hosted by 2012 Miss Universe Olivia Culpo and Mario Lopez and also featured performance by Luis Fonsi. The ceremony was delayed by Covid_19 disease and Zozibini Tunzi the first Black Women from South Africa held the crown since December 2019.
Andrea Meza comes from Chihuahua City and is a make up artist. She is also a model, Tourist Brand Ambassador, activist working with Municipal Institute for Women. She has a degree in Software Engineering. 73 women took place in the pageant ceremony. The Advocate for equality said that since the world is changing so much beauty is not all about looks. She added that spirits,hearts and the way people conduct themselves determines beauty too.
