"Love Is Meant To Build, Not Break And Kill" Lilian Nganga States, Reveals When Breakup Is Justified

Kenyans, especially the lovers of athletics are still struggling to come to terms with the fact that Agnes Tirop is no more. Her brutal shocked many, attracting reactions from netizens, celebrities and even president Uhuru Kenyatta.

Few hours ago, rapper Juliani shared a post on his Instagram where he blamed men for the increased cases of gender based violence. According to him, the cases are on the rise just because men want to maintain their superiority over women, either socially, economically or emotionally.

Today, his girlfriend and former Machakos County first lady Lilian Nga'ng'a has also joined in condemning the rise of the violence against women. On her post, Lilian stated that love is not something that should be used to break someone or lead to loss of life.

According to her, love should bring happiness and more importantly, build. On this, Lilian reported that violence of any kind should never be allowed in a relationship.

She maintains the opinion that when it reaches a point when the two cannot solve their issues peacefully, then the best move is to walk out of such relationships. Lilian hinted that walking out of toxic relationships should not be feared, as life will continue normally instead of clinging on something that will eventually lead to death or harm.

She ended by giving rays of hope. Through the office of the first lady of the county of Machakos, Lilian stated that she started a programme that will look into the rise of gender based violence and offer support to the victims. Once this is completed, she is hopeful that all will be well, especially to the people of Machakos County.
