The internet went wild few days ago after a Mombasa barber came up with a new hairstyle incorporating Raila Odinga’s face on the head of one of his clients.
It all begun when the barber who is known by his alias as Msanii (artist) was approached by one of ardent supporters of Raila who told him that he wanted his head shaved into a hairstyle depicting Raila’s portrait.
After hours of keen work the barber finished the task and the client was happy. This serious piece of art took Kenyans by surprise and it trended on social media for a better part of the day.
An ODM MP has now pledged to pay the barber 10000 Shillings to appreciate his good art. The Homa-Bay Member of Parliament Peter Opondo Kaluma who revealed this information on his official twitter handle asked Kenyans for the whereabouts of the barber.
Few minutes after Opondo Kaluma’s tweet went viral, Kenyans on twitter responded by providing the MP with information that can help reach out to the barber. A tweep by the name Ole Leisanka for example responded by giving the MP the official Facebook page belonging to the barber.
Opondo Kaluma’s excitement about Msanii the barber comes just a day after yet another ODM MP Babu Owino showered the barber with praises on his social media handles.
We live in extremely political times and this has in turn led to increase in political fanatics across the political arena. About a week ago, there was an incident where a young lady was seen showing off a huge tattoo on her body with portrait of DP Ruto.
