EABL Suspends Advertising On Homeboyz Over Shaffie And Co-hosts Remarks, Dr. Ezekiel Mutua Reacts

The East Africa Breweries Limited have suspended their advertising on Radio Africa Group, the owner of Homeboyz Radio, over the remarks made on air by Shaffie Weru, Neville and DJ Joe Mfalme about the lady who was thrown off the 12th floor by her Facebook boyfriend. They said that the woman was too loose and too available thus disregarding ethics of professionalism required at national radio stations and promoting a gender based violence. Here is the letter EABL penned to the Homeboyz Radio concerning the matter.

Dr. Ezekiel Mutua, the chief executive officer of Kenya Film Classification Board, has highly condemned the display by Shaffie Weru and co-hosts on air to embrace acts disregarding the position of women in the society. He has expressed disregard on his twitter page and he has spoken from his own-position point of view and as a representative of the KFCB. Here are his thoughts on twitter.
