Today let's talk about Awinja an actress in a local show Papa Shirandula which is aired on Citizen television every Thursday Evening starting from 6:40 to 7:00. Awinja's real name is Jacky Vike and in the show she takes the role of being Wilbroda's house help.

Awinja comes from a family of a single parent this after her father died when she was in high school. She's the third body in a family of four and her mother who was a business woman managed to bring them up.

Awinja was born and raised in Eastleigh and attended Heshima Primary School. After she completed her secondary education her mother wanted her to become an air hostess but she had passion for acting so she joined a travelling theatre that staged plays in schools. She later joined Media School Africa where she pursued TV production hence achieving her dream.

Her acting career has opened alot of opportunities for her because she has landed in many lucrative advertising and endorsement deals with big companies like Equitel and Safaricom.

She's a mother of one handsome boy.

In the show she dresses like a real house help something that makes her fans think that is her dressing code even in real life. But off the screens Awinja is a decent lady who has great taste for fashion.
