His fans were very sure that he would scoop the award because BET company even posted his photo few hours to the ceremony. Nigeria's Burna boy beaten both Wizkid and Diamond to emerge the winner.
Various artists have urged him to take it easy because he is still out star in East Africa. The 'pete yangu' hitmaker told Diamond to come back home and focus on his music. He reminds him not to worry because he had won the same award twice. By twice he meant his and Rayvanny's.
Moments later, a Kenyan fan identified as 'Mtu' attacked the 'waah' hitmaker saying that he is still young to win such an award. He reiterated that if Wizkid who has done a collaboration with Rihanna is still loosing then how can diamond carry this award. The Merciless fan showcased his undying love to Wizkid claiming that even former US president Barrack Obama has his songs.
